The halls of Hollywood High are filled with all walks of life. Sure, you have your usual high school stereotypes—the burners, the jocks, the drones, the preppies, the mean girls—but you also have a collection of artists, energy workers, and all-around misfits.

This is Melanie Slate’s place at Hollywood High School for the Performing Arts. Here, she can be a creature of exploration—open, discovering, accepted—finally.  

It was worth taking this chance … Or was it?

With her intuition quaking, Melaine face’s the life-or-death nightmare of being hunted—literally—by one of the most popular boys in school. Let’s hope her metaphysical side, her boyfriend, and her ragtag new group of friends are enough to pull her out of the fire.
